Some websites or apps do not open

When most of the internet works but some names do not, it is often DNS (the internet's address book) or a block on the network. An investigation compares answers from several resolvers.

What to do

1. Try the site on mobile data. If it opens there, the problem is on this network.
2. In the app, open Investigate, choose "A website does not open" and type its address.
3. Check Rules in the app: a content rule or a blocked category may be stopping it on purpose.
4. If the investigation shows your provider's DNS gives a wrong answer, it says so and suggests a public resolver.
