UNCHOROS

Make advanced technology accessible.

Reliable internet for homes, communities and businesses, without an IT team.

UNCHOR OS checks your connection every minute, finds what is wrong, fixes what it safely can and tells you in plain words what it did. It also runs your guest Wi-Fi, sells access with payments that go straight to you, and links your branches, on the router you already have.

No technical skill needed. One line to install. Works with what you have. A Raspberry Pi, a Linux box, OpenWrt or MikroTik.

    1. Measure every minute
    2. Decide with evidence
    3. Act within your limits
    4. Check that it worked
    5. Learn what works

Tell it what is wrong. It finds out why.

Pick what is happening. UNCHOR plans the tests your gateway runs, says why each one matters, and keeps what it measured apart from what it only suspects.

These are the tests UNCHOR plans for a real gateway. The results appear in your dashboard once a gateway is connected.

One system for the whole network.

Wi-Fi is one part. UNCHOR runs every layer a business depends on, from the internet line to the till, and shows how far each capability has been proven.

Measured end-to-end in our test network, with the real Linux kernel, firewall and DHCP:

      13 s
from a fibre cut to customers on 4G
      0.5 s
      from payment confirmation to internet
      ≤ 3.15 MB
stopped at a 3 MB data cap
      599 kbps
held for a site limited to 600 kbps
      Getting started

Plug in. Paste one line. Hand it over.

      1. Plug in a gateway

A Raspberry Pi, a small Linux computer, an OpenWrt router or a MikroTik. One cable to your internet, one to your network.

      2. Paste the line we give you

It checks the device, installs, and links it to your account. Your existing router and devices keep working.

        curl -fsSL https://…/install.sh | sudo sh -s -- K7P2-QM4X
      3. It takes over the routine

It sets safe defaults for your kind of place, checks everything every minute, repairs what breaks and asks before anything big.

      Private network

Your branches and your phone, on one network.

Add the site with a public internet address as the hub. Every other branch joins with one click, and your phone joins by scanning a QR code. The keys are made on the devices themselves.

      • Branches see each other The till at the branch reaches the server at head office as if it were in the next room.
      • Reach the office from anywhere Open the camera viewer or the accounts server from your phone, without publishing them to the internet.
      • Guests stay outside Customer devices can never reach the private network, and the private network can never reach them.
      Intelligence

Ask it anything. It answers from your measurements.

"Why is the Wi-Fi slow?" "Block TikTok during class." "What if the fibre goes down?" UNCHOR checks the evidence, simulates before it changes anything, and learns from what happened next.

      • Learns your normal A baseline for every hour of the week flags anything unusual: a sudden crowd, a dying line, a quiet till.
      • Forecasts and prices Next week's sales with the forecast's own measured error, and pricing ideas from your own sales, checked two weeks later.
      • Never more power than you give it You choose how much it may do alone, from "just watch" to "keep it running". One button stops all automation.

      Example answer

      Why is the Wi-Fi slow?

Most likely: the internet line is losing packets. (30 minutes measured)

      Likely
Packet loss averaged 9.5% (healthy is under 1%). Call your provider with these measurements.
      Ruled out
DNS worked in all 30 minutes.
      Ruled out
Customers stayed under their share in 30 of 30 minutes.
      Operations

Run it the way a professional team does.

Every outage gets a timeline that starts with UNCHOR's own diagnosis. Risky changes wait for approval and a maintenance window. Customers see a status page, and you get a monthly service report counted from the gateways' own minute-by-minute records.

      • Incidents with a written record Acknowledge, investigate, resolve, then a postmortem drafted from what actually happened.
      • Changes with approvals Each change is scored for risk from what it touches and who is online. High-risk changes need a second person and a way to undo them.
      • A signed passport for your network Sites, links, policies, incidents and changes in one file that an auditor, insurer or new IT provider can check for themselves.
Illustration of a coverage survey: signal measured at each spot, the wall found by the radio model, and a better spot for the access point.
      See your Wi-Fi

Find the dead zones and the walls in the way.

Walk around with your phone and tap where you stand. UNCHOR measures the signal and speed at each spot, works out which walls or tanks are blocking it, and shows where the access point should go.

Set up for your kind of place

Choose your business. Everything else is set up for you.

Passes, prices, speed sharing, safe-browsing rules, the menu or library, residents' private networks and a checklist, in one click. Change anything later.

      Your data, your rules

You decide what is shared. In writing, at sign-up.

What UNCHOR keeps to run your network

      • Your account and your payment records.
      • Devices as pseudonymous IDs (keyed hashes, never raw hardware addresses).
      • Connection times, data used and network measurements.
      • Visitor contacts only from people who ticked a box, with a stop link in every message.

Helping the AI improve is a separate choice you can change at any time. Records made while it is off never leave your workspace.

      What it never does

      • Read anyone's messages or the pages they visit.
      • Count or track phones that have not joined your network.
      • Hold your customers' money.
      • Let its learning raise what it is allowed to do.
      • Get around a law, a licence or a provider's rules.
      UNCHOR Academy

Learn to run a network by fixing real problems.

Short lessons, then hands-on labs: UNCHOR breaks something in your practice workspace and checks your fix. Finish a course and get a certificate anyone can verify.

Learn with people, not only from lessons. Ask and answer questions, join live sessions run by instructors and mentors, solve weekly field challenges from real measurements, and test ideas in a shared field notebook until the evidence settles them.

      Loading the capability register…

This list is read live from the system's own capability register. "Verified" means exercised end-to-end with the real Linux kernel, firewall and DHCP in our test network. Nothing is marked working before it has been tested.

Statuses also follow real use: a capability becomes "proven in the field" only when at least 10 workspaces use it and its measured success rate stays high, and it is flagged when real use shows problems.

Capability names are shown in English.

      Questions

      Good to know

Is UNCHOR only for Wi-Fi hotspots?

No. Wi-Fi and paid access are one part. UNCHOR also runs your internet links and failover, private links between branches, remote access, uptime checks, office-network security and backups, including for businesses that never sell Wi-Fi.

Do I need to know about networks?

No. You paste one line on the gateway; UNCHOR finds your network, chooses safe settings, and explains everything it does in plain words. The Academy teaches the rest if you want to learn.

Is it legal to sell Wi-Fi?

Selling internet access to the public usually needs permission. In Kenya that is a Communications Authority licence or reselling under a licensed provider's agreement. UNCHOR asks for your licence or authorisation and your warranties before it turns on selling, and gives you a checklist for data protection. It is not legal advice.

      Where does the money go?

Straight to your own M-Pesa till or paybill, or your own card or mobile-money account. UNCHOR confirms each payment with the provider before opening the internet and never holds your customers' money.

What happens when the internet or power goes down?

With two internet links the gateway moves everyone to the backup by itself and back when the main link is healthy again. Access codes keep working without the cloud. With a UPS connected, it tells you how long the battery will last.

      Which languages does it speak?

This site, the sign-up and the main dashboard screens, and the page your customers see come in 11 languages. Translations other than English were written with AI help and are being reviewed by native speakers.

Can I see it before buying anything?

Yes. Open a demonstration workspace with simulated data and try every screen, including the labs. Nothing in it touches real money, devices or people.
