Use a second link when the main one fails

An UNCHOR gateway with two links (fibre and 4G, or two providers) moves traffic to the working one on its own and moves it back when the main link is healthy again.

What to do

1. Plug the second link into the gateway (a USB modem or a second network port).
2. In the app, open Operations → Internet links: name each link, add its data cap and monthly cost.
3. Choose which link is preferred. The gateway tests both every few seconds.
4. If the main link is lossy but not down, UNCHOR tells you and can propose a move for you to approve.
